Denyse R. Davis is a queer, Filipino-American multidisciplinary artist based in Salt Lake City. Rooted in identity, connection, and emotional nuance, their work reimagines real-world scenery through a surreal, expressive lens. Often working with vibrant portraiture and dreamlike landscapes, Denyse uses whimsical color and fluid brushwork to explore the in-between—those fleeting, untouchable intimacies that shape us.

Years of nomadic travel across the U.S. and Europe, combined with a background in Community Health, inform their practice as both a personal exploration and a form of social dialogue. Their work has been exhibited in galleries across the American West, and they have live-painted at events and festivals throughout the region. Denyse has also created public murals and contributed to queer-led and underground art spaces, always bringing a sense of movement, tenderness, and bold presence to their work.
